E.J. Powers is Montagne Communications’ Executive Vice President. He has successfully developed and executed strategic communications campaigns utilizing all forms of media for telecom, energy, health care, retail, hospitality, real estate, government, tech and food and beverage clients. He has secured coverage for clients in prominent media including Good Morning America, USA Today, TIME, Parade, ABC News, NBC News, New York Daily News, The Weather Channel, Chicago Tribune, PC Mag and more.
His experience includes work with FairPoint Communications, Irving Oil, the New Hampshire Liquor Commission, the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism, Cabela’s, Chelsea Property Group, Laconia Harley-Davidson, Ken’s Foods, Catholic Medical Center, Centex Destination Properties, the New Hampshire Lottery, WWPass, the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and Live Free and Start.
E.J. is actively involved in his community. He serves on the Board of Directors of Stay Work Play NH; serves on the Saint Anselm College Alumni Council; is a founding member of Building on Hope; is a past chair of Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation Manchester; past chair of the Manchester Young Professionals Network and the NH Startup Challenge.
E.J. is a graduate of the 2008 class of Leadership Greater Manchester. In 2010, E.J. was recognized by the New Hampshire Union Leader as one of the state’s 40 emerging leaders under the age of 40. That year he also received the Robert B. Jolicoeur School Community Service Award for his work on behalf of Easter Seals NH.
In 2012, E.J. was named the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation’s Emerging Leader in the Manchester Region. E.J. graduated from Saint Anselm College, where he studied at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics and received a BA in Politics and a Certificate in Public Policy.
