Mark LaPrade is an Audit Principal at BerryDunn. He is the leader of BerryDunn’s Higher Education Practice Group. Mark provides audit, accounting and consulting services to clients in New England and New York. He specializes in education, manufacturing, construction, and employee benefit plan audits.
He has almost twenty years of public and private industry experience. Prior to joining to BerryDunn ten years ago, he was an auditor at a regional accounting firm in Rochester, New York. He also spent a few years as the controller for a national engineering, architecture and construction firm before deciding to make the move to New Hampshire.
Mark has previously served on the Board of Directors as the Treasurer for the historic Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH. He also served as the Treasurer for the Rochester Hearing & Speech Center in Rochester, NY.
Mark received his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Mark lives in Bedford, NH with his wife Michele. In his spare time, Mark enjoys golfing and running when there isn’t snow on the ground. In the winter time, he finds time during the busy season to downhill ski, snowboard and cross country ski.
