Monadnock region residents will wade along the banks of the Ashuelot River and Beaver Brook on Friday, September 21 & Saturday, September 22, 2018 as part of the annual Connecticut River Conservancy’s Source to Sea Cleanup, a four state community event to cleanup of the Connecticut River and its tributaries.
Cleanup crews will start working at 9am on both days. Sites include locations in Keene, Swanzey, and Marlow. Volunteers do not require a boat but are encouraged to bring a boat and life jackets if available. Trash bags and gloves will be provided to all volunteers. Source to Sea Cleanup T-shirts will be given to the first 100 participants.
