Avery Hill Rd
Alton Bay, NH 03810
Join Forest Society staff members Jenn Seredejko and Carrie Deegan, as well as land stewards Ken and Suzanne Marvin on a 1.7-mile loop that includes the summit of Pine Mountain, with its spectacular views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the Belknap Range. Along the way, you’ll learn about wildlife habitat, tracks and signs. Bring a bag lunch and plenty of water, dress in warm layers, and bring snowshoes or winter traction. This hike is moderately strenuous, but we will go slowly enough for families with kids. No pets please.
This event is part of a series presented by the Society for the Protection of NH Forests, WMUR, and Stay Work Play NH to help participants get outside this season and to showcase conserved properties around the state.
