American Lung Association –

Now in our second century, the American Lung Association is the leading organization working to save lives, improve lung health and prevent lung disease. The American Lung Association is “Fighting for Air” through research, education and advocacy.

We’re the oldest voluntary health organization, founded in 1904 as the National Association for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis– dedicated to combating tuberculosis (TB), the most dreaded disease of the time.

Cycle the Seacoast is an annual cycling fundraising event that takes place in Portsmouth, NH on Sunday, May 5, 2019. Over 400 cyclists and 200 volunteers come out every year to support the American Lung Association’s mission. In 2018 we raised $117,000 for programs, research and advocacy in the region.

Cyclists choose from three different route options that starts and ends at Cisco Brewers Portsmouth (formally Redhook Brewery) as part of this one-day cycling adventure, 25, 50, or 100 miles. Anyone 7 and up can participate.
