12 week summer enrichment internship. Seeking 2 to 3 summer residents.
Residency Learning Objectives:
1. What is a mission-oriented healthcare company
Students will receive the classic book Hardwiring Excellence as a tool for focusing their energy & attention on Pro Fee physician services. Happy loyal engaged employees will produce happy loyal engaged customers & the flywheel spins on & on.
Resident will write a mission statement: 2-3 page double spaced executive summary to a healthcare CEO with 20 cost effective steps they can take to engage the millennial employee in the digital age in a way that will grow word of mouth volumes to the practice.
2. Strategy: Reaching customers with our mission
What strategy would we use to find & qualify leads for practices that are likely to be early adopters of the resident’s mission statement?
3. Marketing: converting leads into marketing leads
Marketing is about:
a. who is going to your competition
b. why are they going to your competition
c. who is willing to switch
d. why would they be willing to switch
The resident will have ability to study market information & better qualify customers that may be most interested in his/her mission statement
4. Brand Ambassador: Learning how to transform marketing leads
The resident is provided a copy of Selling to VITO – the classic business development book
The student will have the opportunity to schedule, plan, make contact, follow-up, and schedule webinars to make their mission statement a reality.
