ABOUT THE POSITION
In this position, you will work closely with our Director of Marketing and Sales to learn and assist with marketing initiatives to drive revenue. Responsibilities may include social media, creative blog writing, email marketing, researching advertising opportunities, creating private event sales lead sheets, designing flyers and other collateral material, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, website editing, assisting with off-site promotional events, assisting with planning and organizing onsite corporate events, and other responsibilities as assigned. This is not an event planning internship, as event planning will only play a 10%-20% role in your responsibilities. If you are looking for a fun internship where you can learn marketing strategies for driving event sales and hospitality sales, this is the internship for you.
As this is a learning experience, candidates are not required to be skilled in all of the below qualifications, but some experience would be helpful.
– Must be energetic, outgoing and fast learner
– Strong social media skills
– Impeccable writing and grammar skills
– Basic website design and video editing skills
– Event management experience a bonus
– Skilled in writing and creating content
– Knowledge of Photoshop, Hootsuite, WordPress, Wix, Constant Contact, Google Adwords and/or Google Analytics helpful but not required

This internship is unpaid and must be for college credit. Gas stipend will be provided for students traveling more than 35 miles. Hours are flexible, 12-24 hours per week, depending on availability.
