Internship Description

Time will be spent in a combination of regularly scheduled in-person co-working sessions with our Program Manager, President & CEO, other employees of Stay Work Play and working remotely as well as periodic attendance at statewide business and college events, and other meetings.

This internship is ideal for students with an interest in non-profit work, and/or those studying business, marketing, public relations, event management, or communications.

What you’ll learn: Among many other things, Stay Work Play can help you learn about the value of NH, network with leaders throughout the state, and gain valuable professional experience in a variety of areas related to marketing, public relations, and business to make you more competitive after you graduate.

➢ Coordinate marketing and PR strategies, including but not limited to writing press releases and media advisories, developing social media content and tracking of analytics, and assisting with event planning

➢ Work on special marketing projects for events – create timeline for event planning and execution, develop a promotional strategy, and organize efforts with various networks

➢ Assist with to include outreach to employers to attract new listings, maintenance of listings in WordPress, track incoming and outgoing internship data, and prepare weekly job postings for Facebook & Twitter

➢ Undertake market research and data analysis projects to help the organization make informed business development decisions to reach Stay Work Play’s target demographic

➢ Contribute to brainstorming sessions on new partnerships and events for Stay Work Play with individuals, organizations, and higher education institutions

➢ NH resident currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree program at a NH college or university (or a recent graduate)
➢ Attention to detail

➢ Creative with strong interpersonal, analytic, and communication skills
➢ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
➢ Sound and accurate judgment, reliable, and organized
➢ Team player, but also self-motivated and able to work independently
