Identifying “age friendly initiatives” in NH will inform the NH Alliance for Healthy Aging (AHA) and the Tri-State Learning Collaborative on Aging (TSLCA), helping the organizations connect to, engage with, and advance age friendly initiatives. The TSLCA template for gathering information on community initiatives would be leveraged.
Skills needed: Semi-structured interview techniques; effective communication skills, both oral and written; ability to work independently; able to develop, update, and adhere to a workplan; ability to travel for some meetings. $1500 stipend upon completion.
How to Apply• Must be a U.S. citizen or a non-citizen U.S. national or foreign national possessing a visa permitting permanent residence in the U.S. • Must be enrolled in MPH or DrPH program at a School or Program of Public Health in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. • Must be completed in New Hampshire • Must be a minimum of 120 hours.
