About FlowTraq

FlowTraq is a high-performance network monitoring, security and forensic tool that speeds up incident triage in the Security Operations Center and detects anomalies in network traffic that are typical of hacker behavior. Qualifications

-Familiar with the Linux operating system and UNIX command-line usage
-Can install, configure, and operate software in a Linux environment
-Ability to configure, launch, and disband AWS EC2 cloud hosting instances
-Good Critical thinking skills – ability to size up a problem and break it down to digestible portions
-Can learn a new software package and devise a plan for testing multiple aspects of that software under different stressful conditions
-Assist in designing test plans, write, execute test cases for functional and/ or automation testing
-Basic technical writing skills and ability to report and reproduce issues with detail and clarity
-Collaborate with project managers to review product builds and QA checklists
-Learn to manage and track tasks and build notes in JIRA

About FlowTraq’s Internship

Program Internship are paid and for credit. These positions are available for an immediate start; internships are up for renewal at the end of each semester. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits. Reporting To: Internship Coordinator, Marlana Trombley working under Dr. John Murphy, Director of Professional Services and Dr. Vincent Berk, Co- Founder & CEO.

Expectations

-This is NOT a remote position
-Ability to commit to 20 hours or more in the office
-Hours must be worked between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday-Friday
-Transportation to and from our Manchester, NH office is your responsibility
-Be able to use your personal laptop
-Sign a non-disclosure agreement
