Mt. Kearsarge welcomes the opportunity to work cooperatively with schools seeking to grant academic credit for internships. Applicants are encouraged to initiate arrangements for credit with their colleges or universities.Requirements:1. The intern will submit an internship proposal prior to the start of the internship 2. Complete a minimum of 200 hours at the host site or the required hours requested by the school – whichever is greater 3. Keep a reflective journal 4. Submit an interim report when 100 hours of the internship are completed 5. Submit a final evaluation of the internshipThe site supervisor will: 1. Provide the intern with guidance and opportunities for feedback and supervision (meeting at least 30 minutes each week) 2. Complete a final evaluation of the internship that will contribute to the grading processLibrary and Archives Processing Interns in the MKIM Library's Archives Processing participate in a wide variety of projects under the direction of a professional anthropologist and curator. Students gain career-relevant archival experience in a museum library while contributing to the work of the institution.
