About GAA: Our mission is to promote responsible aquaculture practices through education, advocacy and demonstration. For over 20 years, we have demonstrated our commitment to feeding the world through responsible and sustainable aquaculture.We do this by providing resources to individuals and businesses worldwide who are associated with aquaculture and seafood. We improve production practices through our partnerships with countries, communities and companies, as well as online learning and groundbreaking journalism that boasts active readership in every country of the world.Internship Dates: June 2017 - August 2017 Frequency: 4 days a week. Intern can build their own schedule but Mondays are mandatory. Location: 2 International Drive, Suite 110, Portsmouth, NH 03801 Reports To: Membership Manager and Digital Marketing CoordinatorResponsibilities: • Assist in consumer research and connect with other industry organizations via their social media outlets • Research on indirect target audiences (chefs, other NGO’s, the wild-caught industry, aquaponics) and develop outreach plans • Start discussions on GAA’s online community, MyGAA, and assist in outreach • Produce 1 aquaculture-related blog post per week • Coordinate photo library creation, categorization and management • Assist with mailing list cleanup • Attend occasional local meetings and conferences • Perform various administrative duties • **Graphic design experience a plus** Please note: • This is an unpaid internship • Project work may ...
