Accepting applications through 2020.$28,000 education award, 50% UNH tuition discount, and a new computer!TRRE is a 15-month program for people interested in becoming math or science teachers for students in elementary or secondary rural, high need schools in NH. Applicants choose 1 of 6 certification areas: Elementary education with middle school math or science (K-8), Secondary education with science or math (7-12), Elementary education (K-6).TRRE includes graduate coursework, a community internship, and a full year residency in a rural school with a mentor teacher. Teaching Residents earn a Master of Education (M.Ed) and teacher certification in exchange for 3 years teaching in a rural, high-need NH school. University of New Hampshire provides induction support during the first two years of teaching.
