High School Student of the Year Award

We are looking for a remarkable high school student in New Hampshire, between the ages of 13 and 18, who is making an impact in their community, actively engaged in their extracurriculars, and excels in the classroom.

A panel of judges comprised of individuals in the secondary education industry from across the state will select the award recipient.

Please note: Self-nominations are discouraged.

2019 nominations are open through Friday, July 19th.

High School Student of the Year Award

  • Please note: To be eligible, nominees must be between the ages of 13 and 18
  • Tell us what distinguishes this nominee from his/her peers. What is the sum of their accomplishments or leadership in their school and/or NH?
  • Demonstrating a passion to serve others is an important quality this nominee should possess. Nominees should maintain academic excellence while committing their time, energy, and resources to making a difference within their school and/or local community. Provide a summary of nominee’s involvement with civic organizations, community service groups, and extracurricular activities. Include awards of merit received and specific volunteer projects worked on.
  • Provide a summary of your nominee's contributions to his/her high school. Include a list of honors and awards, certifications, and other recognition.

  • In addition to the online nomination form, please provide two letters of recommendation from teachers, coaches, school administration, business, or community leaders. One letter of recommendation written by the nominator is acceptable.
