After 10 years of pursuing and achieving her lifelong dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer, Kelly retired from ballet and was drawn back to her home in New Hampshire. Being back in her home state she makes it a priority to spend quality time with her parents and extended family.

Her dancing experience led her to start her own thriving business, Kelly Diamond Certified Rolfer™ LLC, in Concord NH. Rolfing, or Rolfing® Structural Integration, “is a holistic system of bodywork. It returns a person’s body to a more ideal state of balance and alignment. This is facilitated through a process of gentle soft-tissue manipulation and movement re-education.” Kelly pulls upon her background training in movement and collaborates with her clients to help them achieve a better sense of health and well being.

Kelly officially trained and graduated at the Rolf® Institute of Structural Integration of Boulder, Colorado, in early 2013. She has done several continuing education classes in her field, studying with other Rolfers and osteopaths. Continuous learning is a lifetime goal for Kelly. “Whether I am taking classes, studying on my own, or learning from clients, I seek out more information and am constantly assessing how I can improve.” She loves how receptive the city of Concord has been to the growing community of professionals and businesses who offer alternative therapies and healthy options. “It is encouraging to see that people are seeking these options out. I am thrilled to be a part of this community and love meeting others within the profession.”

As a new business owner, Kelly is responsible for networking, educating, promoting, managing, and encouraging the growth of her business, all while making her clients a top priority. She has participated in many local events and donates Rolfing services when she can. As a member of Business Networking International (BNI), she has been able to help generate business for her colleagues while gaining quality referrals. Kelly enjoys regularly attending the Concord Young Professional events (CYPN) and Chamber Events. She remains active in the local community and volunteers with the Capital Area Wellness Coalition.

Her passion and knowledge for dance shines through her teaching of young ballet students at Dance Inspirations in Concord and Dimensions in Dance in Manchester. She is also a member of the non-profit FreeFall Contemporary Dance Company, a contemporary dance company aimed at enriching and engaging the lives of others through dance. She enjoys performing just as much as loves supporting local performers and performances. Her appreciation for art is apparent through her love of visiting the on top of MonroeCurrier Museum of Art viewing the latest exhibitions.
Kelly practices yoga at Bikram Yoga Concord and is an avid rock climber at Evo Rock and Fitness in Concord. She started working towards hiking all the 4000 Footers in New Hampshire in October of 2013 and has completed 19 of the 48. After her active workouts, she enjoys reading at Café la Reine in Manchester, the True Brew café or in Gibson’s Bookstore in Concord. In between her active days, Kelly enjoys a good bite to eat at Mint Bistro, specifically indulging in sushi. Local organic Live Juice, Thai at Siam Orchid, farm-to-table dishes at Republic, and going downtown Concord to The Barley House are all some of her favorites. She is often found walking through the aisles of The Concord Food Co-Op, Trader Joes, The Fresh Market, A Market, and Whole Foods, looking for delicious healthy snacks for her active lifestyle.

For Kelly, a perfect day in New Hampshire is sweater weather: crisp fresh air, apple picking and pumpkin flavored everything. “There is a reason why everyone from MA storms up to NH to “leaf peep”… it is beautiful.” Based on her childhood experience, Kelly believes NH is the perfect place to settle and raise a family. “NH feels like home.” She grew up in Pembroke and she describes her favorite hidden gem right outside of Pembroke in Hooksett. “There is a beautiful walking trail (about 2 miles one way) that follows a large pond. It is close enough to be easily accessible and off the road enough to offer a place of peace and serenity. Whether I am walking or running, it is a place for me to brainstorm and/or clear my mind. A breath of fresh air.”

Kelly looks forward to growing her business and partnering with other like-minded professionals to create a “power team” of positive, alternative, healing therapies for people. Her determination, focus and steadiness with the support of her family has allowed her to accomplish so much already at such a young age.
