All Mixed Up with In The Mix

In The Mix was founded by Brandon Laws and Dan Haggerty, who have collectively worked in essentially every bar in Downtown Nashua. However, neither of them have any experience with running a business, which makes what they are doing even more impressive.

After working in the food & beverage industry for a combined 30 years, Laws and Haggerty developed a passion for the craft of bartending. They are well-known bartenders in Downtown Nashua; Laws has been recognized as Nashua’s Best Bartender by The Hippo in 2016, and Haggerty is widely known for his gregarious and contagiously positive personality. However, they have both left their full-time bartending positions to devote that time to their business which offers none other than bartending services.

The concept is simple, really: provide professional bartending services to anyone hosting and/or planning any event. Laws said the mission of the business is to make planning and hosting a “fluid process” for clients—pun intended. Clients choose between two different packages. “The Professional” is perfect for a last-minute event offering the basics of a bartender, wine key and bottle opener, bar towel, knife and cutting board, and a shaker. “The Total Package” includes any and everything you may need from mixers to garnishes and glass/barware to coolers and ice. They are willing and able to fulfill all your needs and desires. They offer liquor consultations and can provide whatever it is you may need, and they can even create a custom craft-cocktail menu for the event.

In The Mix is a relatively new company, being granted official LLC status in March 2015, and did not make the commitment of leaving their full-time bartending gigs until August 2016. The services offered, along with the unmatched bartending expertise of Laws and Haggerty, makes In The Mix a sought-after addition to any event. There is no denying the business’s rapid growth. They have provided services to Downtown Nashua’s Eat Local Fall Food and Music Festival, the grand opening of Jo Louise Beauty Studio, and multiple personal and other professional events since August 2016.

Laws and Haggerty are Nashua natives and are happy to be growing their business in the community which has loved and supported them for so many years. When asked whether they have ever consider relocating either themselves or their business to somewhere other than Nashua or NH in general, they both shook their heads and expressed their love for NH. They have both done their fair share of travelling, but still consider NH as the best of the best. In The Mix has settled into an office in Downtown Nashua which offers a view of where it all started, Nashua’s Main Street.

Giving back and supporting the community from which they rose to popularity is important to the two business partners. They are excited to offer their services to the many events held in Downtown Nashua in the future. Additionally, there is an exciting buzz around Nashua in regards to an outside, seasonal Biergärten situated in Downtown Nashua for which In The Mix will be providing its services. They are also looking to get involved with NH corporations by providing their services in any way possible.

I had dinner there last night (Fody’s )and what a great atmosphere . We sat at the bar and the bartender kept us entertained. Looking forward to a return dinner and the article Ms.Walley wrote was very informative. It’s refreshing to see someone research a subject with such care. Thank you Carolyn for your time and accuracy on the article
