Concord Young Professionals Network turns 10!

CYPN is officially 10 years old and that is awesome! What began in 2006 as an initiative of the Concord Chamber of Commerce, has grown into a vast network that connects young professionals all over the capital region and beyond. For 10 years The Concord Young Professionals Network has been hosting monthly networking events which have always been and continue to be, the place to see and be seen on the third Wednesday of every month. CYPN’s monthly networking events are hosted by organizations and businesses in Concord and are a great place to be to network, build contact lists, or just catch up with fellow young professionals.

Networking is great, but through the years, CYPN has grown beyond only offering networking opportunities to include professional development and opportunities for community involvement.

Through an impressive amount of strategic planning and partnership building, CYPN now offers Lunch and Learn seminars are the first Thursday of every month. Lunch and Learn seminars range in topics from how to use popular software programs to dementia awareness. These seminars, which are held at the Chamber, offer young professionals the opportunity to learn skills that will benefit them professionally and help them give back to the community that supports them.

Additionally, In partnership with Concord Hospital’s Center for Health Promotion, CYPN is also rolling out a Wellness Series sponsored by Tufts Health, which is focused on helping young professionals make healthy choices. The first in this series is called “Meals in Minutes.” You can get the details on that here.

Both the “Lunch and Learn” series and the “Wellness Series,” can be added to a growing list of CYPN partnerships which include NHPR and Stay Work Play New Hampshire.

But enough back story, let’s talk party.
