How did you feel when WS Badger was named Coolest Company for Young Professionals?

Surprised and pleased! Although, I already knew that my co-workers were cool.

How does Badger recruit its young professional employees?

We use word of mouth, talk about our mission and sustainably-minded practices, promote being a B Corp, and share what makes Badger a great place to work.

Describe Badger’s corporate culture.

Well, for starters, fun is written into our mission, so we have a lot of it. One of the principles of our mission is having a business environment that is respectful and supportive of all employees and of the people we serve. So we work really hard every day to meet everyone’s needs.

How does Badger promote employee motivation?

We have company retreats, outings, volunteer events, and celebrations.

What is your favorite benefit that Badger offers and why?

My favorite benefit is our childcare center, Calendula Garden. As a mom of three, knowing that my children are being exceptionally cared for allows me to focus on my work.

What is your favorite Badger product that’s offered?

Unscented Body Oil, because it soothes my skin and makes me feel good every day.

How would you sell a recent college graduate on coming to Gilsum, NH to join W.S. Badger?

Badger is a diverse community of people who are caring, thoughtful, and welcoming to all. We love to laugh, spend time in the outdoors, and have many passions and interests that we are willing to share. We’re just a really friendly bunch of Badgers!

We know you love the Granite State, so tell us:

What is your favorite “hole-in-the-wall” eatery?

Taqueria Odelay, in Keene NH.

Where is your favorite weekend-getaway?

Church Landing in Meredith, NH.

What is your favorite season and what makes it your favorite?

Summer, because I love spending time in my garden.

How do you love to spend a rainy day in NH?

Taking my kids to the Cheshire Children’s Museum in Keene, NH.

I’ve got too many to list!
