Race Weekend, Pub Crawl, Concord Market Days

Race weekend is here, like you didn’t already know that considering the traffic on 93 north yesterday! My family is not huge Nascar fans but the one thing that we love to bring our son Beckett to do is go to the Concord Airport on Sunday after the race to watch the planes take off. He loves planes and watching them take off from the airport is such a fun time for him. It is neat to see Concord’s little airport full of private planes all waiting to take off. Tickets are still available at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Saturday 7/12 the Women’s Club of Concord is holding a pub crawl starting at 4PM. Get some friends together for a fun night out and make a donation to this worthy cause. There are numerous locations along the way and it is sure to be a great time! The Women’s Club of Concord awards yearly scholarships to local Capitol Region girls, does outreach with the Woman’s Prison Program, helps to feed & clothe local women and children, works with domestic violence survivors and homeless, and their Historic Chamberlin House is home to women in transition. If you are unable to attend the Pub Crawl consider giving a donation to this worthy cause. They will be using the event’s donations towards the Chamberlin House Restoration fund.

July 17-19 is Market Days in Concord. For three days the town of Concord closes off Main Street for vendors, fun, and good food! Live music is scheduled for Eagle and Bicentennial Square, numerous family friendly activities on the State House lawn, outdoor movies on Friday and Saturday with Red River Theatres, the Concord Arts Market, and so much more!
