There’s Still Time!

Screen Shot 2014-05-21 at 6.25.01 AMYou may have seen the commercials on WMUR lately, but if you missed it, it’s Restaurant Week in New Hampshire! That means you have access to incredible dining deals at over 150 participating restaurants throughout the state. For one price, you get a prix fixe menu that usually has a couple options for you to choose between appetizer, entree, and dessert. There’s more to it than food this year…Restaurant week goes even further with hotel and lodging deals as the event is sponsored by the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association. So you can Eat, Drink, and Stay as well!

Here’s my recommendation if you’re a first timer:

  • Think of a place you’ve been dying to try in any part of the state. Use the online restaurant finder to see if they are participating (I’m guessing they are) and check out the price level and menus. If it works for you, go visit and try out the food! If you’re a seasoned NH Foodie, go back to your favorite place a few times to show your support or try something a little farther away.
  • Deals are listed by forks and split up between lunch and dinner. Remember, some places are only open for dinner, so that’s important to check before visiting. One fork is the lowest price category, and three forks is the highest. You can choose what’s best for you… Side note: Three forks for dinner is only $35.00 for three courses! With all the information on the website, you can scope out what’s being offered and make your decision.

So remember, it may be Wednesday but there’s still time to take advantage of Restaurant Week NH. Go somewhere new for lunch today and plan a nice, dinner out Friday night.

Just be sure to let us know where you went and how much you enjoyed it!
