The second week in February is a HUGE week in NH. No I am not talking about all of the politicians making their way through the state, or the (first) Primary on the 9th, I’m talking about Valentine’s Day. I have never really been a fan of the holiday, but I do take it as another opportunity to spend some quality time with my gals (Galentine’s Day anyone?), or that “special person”.
Here are my top 5 Valentine’s Day ideas. Not to single out the singles, these are great to do with a group or one-on-one.
1. Muse Paint Bar
Muse is a great way to show your artistic side. Not artistic? Me either. It’s also a great time to drink some wine and act like you know what you are doing. Check out their rates here. Super affordable
2. Vertical Dreams
For those of you that want something more adventurous than a trampoline park, you need to try Vertical Dreams. An indoor rock climbing gym located in Manchester. It doesn’t matter if you are a first timer or have been doing it for years.
3. Pig Tale: Nashua, NH
I ate at this restaurant a few weeks ago, and I cannot get it out of my head! You know when you have those meals that you are speechless after you finish? Well, this is that place. To top it off, everything is made fresh. So fresh that they don’t even own a freezer!
4. Sky Zone Trampoline Park
This is a new feature to Manchester. A place full of trampolines? Sign me up! What is unique about this place is that you have the option just to jump around or you can sign up for one of their many planned activities; Dodge ball with trampolines. YES!
5. Seacoast Growler Tour
Calling all craft beer drinkers! This is a great activity with a close group, or one on one. You jump in a bus and are brought to all the breweries on the Seacoast. Don’t think there are a lot? Well, check again! What’s better than some good beer and then a nice dinner in Portsmouth?!
