The Supply Chain Management Intern will be responsible for researching, documenting and making recommendations on a Key Account non-compliance fine reduction Plan. The role will have a strong analytical focus while also providing the focus to work on a Key Account. The focus will be on 1 specific key account to research, outline and map a non-compliance process for review and validation on fines.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Research on customer non-compliance fines
Organizing Data for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Functional and cross-functional Process Mapping
Supply chain cost analysis
A basic understanding of supply chain needed
Strong computer skills preferably with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
Must be capable of multi-tasking while keeping attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to work on teams
Demonstrated ability to complete projects on schedule following established procedures
Ability to foster and maintain solid professional relationships internally and externally
Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications & Requirements:
Be a Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited University Degree Program – Preferably with a focus on Logistics or Supply Chain
Demonstrated proficiency with a computer and with MS software
Skills & Knowledge:
Process and results orientated
Team focused and collaborative
Ability to operate effectively and professionally in stressful situations
Ability to multi-task
Proficient in Excel and Word
Must have solid written and verbal communication skills
Must be a currently enrolled student with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills
