Senator Michael Bennet To Headline “Politics Unplugged: 2020” Event

A Forum for New Hampshire’s Young Professionals to Engage with Presidential Candidates

Stay Work Play New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Institute of Politics (NHIOP) have announced that Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bennet will headline the fourth of the event series, “Politics Unplugged: 2020,” on February 3, 2020.

Previously known as the “Life of the Party” series, “Politics Unplugged: 2020” aims to be unique and engaging, serving those who are looking for an alternative to the traditional political process and enabling young people to ask questions of interest to their demographic. Attendees will get to know candidates as people, rather than just political figures, through free-flowing and casual discussion where civil conversation overrides party politics.

Will Stewart, Executive Director of Stay Work Play New Hampshire, and Victoria Adewumi, Chair of New American Africans and a Community Liaison at the Manchester Health Department, will co-moderate the discussion with topics of interest to young professionals in New Hampshire. As attendees arrive, they will have time to network and enjoy music, light refreshments, and beverages.

The series previously hosted U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Cory Booker, and U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard. Audience members are encouraged to dress casually and take part in the conversation. Questions and topics of interest can be submitted through the event registration form at

The free event will be held at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. Doors open at 3:00 p.m. Those planning to attend should complete the online registration form to secure a spot. The “Politics Unplugged: 2020” series is sponsored by Bank of America.
