Civic Leader of the Year Award

We are looking for an individual who, through their volunteerism and/or community involvement demonstrates a commitment to improving civic life in a volunteer, elected or professional capacity to make New Hampshire a better place for future generations. Nominees must be between 21 and 40 years of age and must live and work in the state of New Hampshire.

A panel of judges comprised of business and community leaders from across the state will select the award recipient.

Please note: Self-nominations are discouraged. Past winners of this award are not eligible to win this award again.

2019 nominations are open through Friday, July 19th.

Civic Leader of the Year Award

  • A demonstrated commitment of time, treasure and/or talent to one or more issues/causes/organizations that are important to a local community or the state of NH; Provide evidence of measurable impact or outcome of the nominee’s civic activities; Showcase evidence of collaboration, selflessness and commitment to the project, program and/or community; List additional recognition/awards/accolades showcasing the individual as a champion of service.
